There are many questions regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge smartphone and a lot of leaks regarding the same. Samsung has already started working on the next generation Galaxy smartphones which are going to be Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 edge after the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Many people are wondering if the next gen Galaxy smartphone will arrive with a 4K display or not and as per rumors it is suggested that Galaxy S8 Edge might come with a 4K display which will support the Daydream virtual reality project which is developed by Google right now.
The daydream project by Google, which is a mobile friendly VR platform was revealed back in May, however Google claimed that there is no smartphone available as of now which will support this project. We assume that the next gen Nexus smartphone will arrive with a 4K display and will support the Day dream project of Google.
Other smartphone manufacturers are also working on a 4K display for their flagship devices which will most likely support Google’s day dream project.
Coming back to the Galaxy S8 edge which is expected to launch in 2017 around MWC, multiple reports have suggested that the device will come with a 4K display. The development team at Samsung is working on something called Project Dream where multiple developments for the 4K display are being made.
If a 4K display is provided in the next Galaxy Edge smartphone then it is definitely going to be a banger and will stand among other flagship devices of the year 2017.
Samsung is already working on a 5.5-inch 4k display equipped with 4K resolution. A source at Phone Arena suggested that Samsung is working on a new technology called Bio blue along with 4K display which will diminish blue light which is emitted from the AMOLED displays.
If the Daydream project is part of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge it will arrive most likely with Android N which is going to be the latest version of Android operating system. There is no official word from Samsung about the 4K display or if they are working on Project Dream but we will come to know about it soon enough.
